(Salem, OR)  --  An Oregon tax on new car sales is being okayed by the state Supreme Court.  OregonLive reports that the panel ruled today it's not unconstitutional to divert that money to things like rebates for electric vehicles.  The tax is an important part of the transportation bill approved by the state legislature last year.  That package was one of Governor Kate Brown's top priorities in the session, and she says the ruling is "great news" for Oregon.
