OR Among Coalition Blasting Trump's Plan To Weaken Car Pollution Regulations

(Portland, OR)  --  Oregon state's attorney general is among a coalition of 20 attorneys general threatening to sue the Trump administration over its plan to weaken car pollution rules.  The coalition led by New York's attorney general is calling the proposal "reckless and illegal" and saying it'll cause Americans to breathe dirtier air while paying higher prices at the gas pump.  The new plan would freeze regulations requiring carmakers to build cleaner, more fuel-efficient models and would challenge the rights of states, like California, to set their own emission standards.
