(Undated) -- An Oregon-based company that makes vegetarian food products is suing to stop a Missouri law from going into effect today. The Hood River-based company Tofurky is suing so it can keep describing its products with terms that sound like meat. Tofurky's lawsuit says it should be able to sell its hot dogs and sausages, as long as the packing makes it clear the stuff is made from vegetables. The company and an advocacy group filed suit yesterday to block a Missouri law against calling products meat if they don't come from livestock or poultry.
