(Portland, OR)  --  A man who drove through a crowd of protesters downtown with a demonstrator on his hood claims the protesters caused thousands of dollars in damages to his car.  KATU-2 reports the man told police his Lexus sustained three-thousand dollars worth of damage in the incident Saturday.  A news videographer caught the scene as the driver pushed his way through a crosswalk filled with protesters, striking at least one of them.  The walk sign was on in the crosswalk, and the protesters had the right-of-way.  Police say none of the protesters have filed a report.
