(Portland, OR)  --  Active fault lines found on Mount Hood could cause a 7.2 magnitude earthquake.  Researchers say the fault networks are north, south, and southwest of Mount Hood and extend to the Columbia River.  An earthquake triggered by the fault lines could impact Portland infrastructure.  It could especially impact waterfront areas, according to those who discovered the fault lines.
