Multnomah County GOP Challenges Eudaly Voting Drive

(Portland, OR)  --  The Multnomah County Republican Party is challenging an effort to increase voter turnout in Portland.  The Oregonian reports that the GOP wants an investigation into Commissioner Chloe Eudaly's plan to use city workers to get out the vote while they're on the job.  Eudaly invited the municipal employees to knock on doors last week in precincts where turnout has been low.  The local GOP chairman says she's breaking a law which bars city money from being spent in ways not specified in the budget.
