(Portland, OR) -- A local Muslim civil rights group is the target of an alleged threat made on a social media page for the Patriot Prayer group. The Oregon chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations says the threatening comment was posted Saturday afternoon on the Facebook page for the Vancouver-based alt-right group. The comment suggested burning down all of the council's offices. The Oregon chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations recently asked the crowdfunding website Giving Fuel to remove the Patriot Prayer's fundraising page due to rhetoric they said fueled Islamophobia. Giving Fuel took the page down on Friday, saying the group's actions fell outside their terms of use.
