(Washington, DC) -- The official Christmas Tree is now at the U.S. Capitol after traveling across the country from Oregon. Nikki Swanson with the U.S. Forest Service says the tree is an 80-foot-tall Noble fir from the Willamette National Forest. The tree traveled nearly three-thousand miles in a three-week journey to make its way to the Capitol. A different national forest is picked each year to provide the Capitol Christmas tree.
