(Portland, OR)  --  Portland-based PacifiCorp is asking for more time to review the potential operational life of several of its coal-fired power plants.  The request comes after the company's own analysis found that 60-percent of those plants are more costly to run than they are to shutter.  The analysis detailed how quickly PacifiCorp believes they could pay off the cost to build those plants.
