Police ID Officer Who Shot, Killed Suspect In SE Portland

(Portland, OR)  --  Police are releasing the identity of an officer who shot and killed a man in southeast Portland.  The Portland Police Bureau says Officer Consider Vosu shot the man Sunday while responding to a disturbance at a house near Southeast 96th Avenue and Market Street near Portland Adventist Academy.  Police say the suspect showed up at the home and started pounding on the door and then broke into the home, running into a bedroom and pulling out a knife.  Police say Vosu tried using his stun gun on the man before opening fire, but the stun gun failed to bring the suspect down, forcing Vosu to use his gun.
