(Portland, OR)  --  One woman is dead following an apartment fire in northeast Portland.  Fire crews responded to the area of Northeast 160th Avenue and Northeast Everett Street around 3:30 this morning to find the apartment engulfed in flames.  Fire officials say a man, woman and girl were able to escape the blaze, but a second woman was found dead inside.  The three surviving family members were taken to a hospital with injuries.  An investigation into the fire is ongoing.
