(Portland, OR)  --  Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver accused of critically injuring one of his own passengers in a crash in southeast Portland.  Police say 29-year-old Nicholas Woods was speeding on Southeast 92nd Avenue just after midnight yesterday when he crashed into several parked cars and then walked away from the scene.  Two people were riding in the car with him, including 34-year-old Cherie Swanson, who suffered traumatic injuries.  The other passenger was her fiancé, who police say was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
