OR Woman Gets 5 Days For DUI After Daughter's Death

(McMinnville, OR)  --  An Oregon woman is getting five days in jail for drunk driving following the death of her adult daughter.  A Yamhill County judge handed down the sentence Monday to Jennifer Weathers.  It's considered a common sentence for a first-time DUII conviction.  Investigators say she was behind the wheel in August when her daughter fell from the moving car and tumbled to her death.  Prosecutors say they didn't have enough evidence to build a case for homicide.  The state medical examiner ruled the younger woman's death accidental.
