(Seattle, WA) -- Some Alaska Airlines passengers are recovering from a scare after a Portland-to-Seattle flight was forced to turn around due to a propeller issue. KOMO News in Seattle reports Flight 2228 turned around shortly after takeoff yesterday morning after the pilots learned of an issue with one of the propellers' speed control. The crew was forced to shut down one of the plane's engines and return to Portland. The plane landed safely back in Portland less than an hour after takeoff.
