(Salem, OR) -- Oregon voters may get the chance in November 2020 to make major changes to the state's marijuana law. An initiative petition submitted to the Secretary of State's office today would pave the way for cafes where users could use cannabis indoors. The changes could also put new protections in place for workers who use pot while off the job. That would make it so those employees could not be fired for using marijuana, so long as it does not impact their performance or violate a collective bargaining agreement.
