Vancouver Protesters March Against Police Shootings

(Vancouver, WA)  --  Demonstrators in Vancouver are protesting police shootings following a series of deadly officer-involved shootings in the city this year.  Protesters held a march and rally yesterday at Esther Short Park.  Among the protesters were friends and family members of Carlos Hunter, whom police shot and killed earlier this month during a traffic stop.  The demonstration came one day after residents flocked to a Vancouver City Council meeting to call for the use of body cameras on officers.  Vancouver police have shot four people so far this year, and three of them have died.
