(Seattle, WA) -- A Portland man is among four people killed in a deadly crane collapse in downtown Seattle on Saturday. The Seattle Times reports a crane operator with Portland's Ironworkers Local 29 was killed when the crane crashed into a building and then down onto a busy street below, crushing six cars. Local 29 business manager Joe Bowers says the Portland crane operator had just recently married and that he had several years of experience working on tower cranes. Authorities are not yet releasing his name. Three others were also killed in the crash, including a crane operator based in Seattle. Another four people were injured.
