(Phoenix, OR)  --  Police are confirming the death of one of the original Mouseketeers inside his Phoenix, Oregon home.  The remains of 76-year-old Dennis Day were discovered April inside his home.  Police say the remains were so badly deteriorated that they were unable to identify them until now.  Day went missing in July of last year.  The official cause of death was not disclosed.  Day was a Mouseketeer in 1956 and 1957.  Unlike Annette Funicello and Bobby Burgess -- he did not continue in show business after the original series ended production in 1958.
