(Portland, OR) -- A man is facing multiple charges after allegedly crashing into and injuring an off-duty sheriff's deputy riding a motorcycle and then fleeing the scene. The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office says the deputy was riding to work on a motorcycle yesterday morning when Marcus Alcola crashed into her in the Hillsboro area and then took off. The deputy was rushed to a hospital and is expected to recover. Police found Alcola about half a mile away from the scene and arrested him on charges of DUI, third-degree assault and felony hit-and-run.
