Candlelight Vigil Held For Sisters Killed In Hit-And-Run

(Portland, OR)  --  Community members are remembering two sisters who were killed in a hit-and-run crash in southeast Portland.  Dozens of people gathered last night at Southeast 148th Avenue and Powell Boulevard for a candlelight vigil for 59-year-old Robin Macready and 60-year-old Charlene Niles-Hauth.  Macready died from her injuries in a hospital Tuesday following the crash that killed her sister on Monday.  Family members tell KATU the sisters were best friends and "inseparable."  Police have arrested 20-year-old Antonio Montgomery on more than a dozen charges including hit-and-run and manslaughter.
