Hit-And-Run Leaves Family Hospitalized

(Portland, OR)  --  Police in Washington County are searching for a suspect in a hit-and-run crash that left a family hospitalized.  The Washington County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened Saturday night on Highway 99 near Sherwood.  Nathan Ferrell tells KATU he was driving home from the Highland Games in Gresham with his two teenage daughters and their friend when a Ford Ranger pulled out in front of their vehicle, forcing Ferrell off the road.  The family's vehicle rolled several times, and the Ford Ranger crashed into a ditch.  Police say the suspect driver and his passenger then fled the scene after being picked up by another vehicle.  Ferrell and the teenage girls suffered some bruises and sprains and have since been released from the hospital.
