Officials Kill Cougar That Confronted Jogger

(Corvallis, OR)  --  State wildlife officials say they've killed a cougar that attacked a jogger in the Dunn Research Forest.  The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife says they used trained dogs to find the cougar who aggressively confronted a jogger on Saturday.  The jogger was not injured and was eventually able to scare the cougar off after coming across some hikers who had a dog with them.  A necropsy for the cougar has been scheduled.
