Police ID Woman Accused Of Killing Pet Rabbit

(Salem, OR)  --  Police are releasing the identity of a Salem woman accused of killing a family's pet rabbit.  The Marion County Sheriff's Office says 38-year-old Chantel Scott is facing charges of animal abuse, criminal mischief and trespassing for the incident on Sunday.  Police say a resident at a home on Silverton Road Northeast called 9-1-1 after finding Scott wandering around her property.  The resident found one of the family's pet rabbits dead outside its rabbit cage shortly after the woman left.
