Historic Building Coming Down In Alberta Neighborhood

(Portland, OR)  --  An historic building is coming down in Portland's Alberta neighborhood.  KGW8 reports the 109-year-old building on the southwest corner of Northeast 33rd Avenue and Alberta Street will be demolished early next year.  Bob Bochsler of Box Real Estate Holdings LLC says he plans to put up a mixed-use condo office building in the space.  Bochsler says he had hoped to use the existing building for the space but that it would be too expensive to restore it with the necessary structural reinforcements.
