Man Arrested For Bias Crime Against Two Men Outside Bakery

(Portland, OR)  --  A man is facing bias crime charges after allegedly using racist and homophobic slurs against a pair of men and then physically assaulting one of them.  Police say 50-year-old Don Kirchhoff approached the two men outside a Lovejoy Bakers in northwest Portland Tuesday and began hurling homophobic and racist epithets, including the "n-word."  He then allegedly pushed one of the men against a wall, injuring his head and neck.  He's facing charges of bias crime and assault.
