(Portland, OR) -- Multnomah County health officials are holding an informational briefing this morning on flavored tobacco and nicotine products. The briefing comes a couple days after the Oregon Health Authority confirmed three more cases of vaping-related lung illnesses in the state, bringing the state's total to eight cases. This morning's briefing will focus on the public health impact of flavored nicotine products while giving an overview of possible policy changes aimed at addressing the issue.
