>>Elderly Woman Dies Outside Retirement Home

(Longview, WA)  --  Officials say an 88-year-old woman froze to death outside her retirement home in Longview.  An autopsy revealed Norma Jeanette Sheldon died of hypothermia, and the chief deputy coroner declared her death accidental.  Sheldon's body was found by staff Friday morning in the courtyard of the Canterbury Garden Memory Care Community.  Officials say there's no sign Sheldon had fallen or was otherwise physically unable to go back inside the facility.

>>Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro Among 'Best-Performing Cities'

(Undated)  --  The Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro metropolitan statistical area is in the upper tier of the nation's "Best-Performing Cities" of 2013.  The ranking is a result of a Milken Institute study, which ranks U.S. metropolitan areas by how well they're creating and sustaining jobs and economic growth.  The Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro MSA is ranked 21st, up from 23rd in 2012.  The Seattle-Bellevue-Everett MSA ranks sixth in the nation, up from 13th last year.

>>WA Health Exchange Website Down

(Undated)  --  Washington's health insurance exchange website is down again due to technical glitches.  Officials say issues with the Washington Department of Social and Health Services website forced them to take the insurance exchange website offline yesterday morning.  The move comes after glitches forced the state to shut down the website for four days last week.  Officials say the website is scheduled to be back online at 12:01 p.m. today.

>>Fuel Prices Slightly Higher

(Portland, OR)  --  Motorists in the Portland area are paying slightly more today for gasoline.  Triple-A reports the average for regular is just above three-27 a gallon, up a fraction of a cent from yesterday.  It's also about a penny higher than a week ago, but about four-and-a-half cents a gallon cheaper than at this point in November.

>>Blazers Top Jazz, 105-94

(Salt Lake City, UT)  --  The Portland Trail Blazers are off to their best start since the 1990-91 season after defeating Utah, 105-94.  The Blazers are nine-and-two on the road this season after last night's win, the team's 18th overall against only four losses.  LaMarcus Aldridge led all scorers with 24 points and Damian Lillard added 18.  The Blazers will host the Houston Rockets Thursday night.
