(Vancouver, WA) -- A 19-year-old from Vancouver is facing charges after allegedly firing an AK-47 into the air. Police say officers used a Taser to subdue say Devin Potts Tolles after he refused to lie on the ground after dropping the weapon in the Crater Park area. Authorities say Tolles reportedly had been chasing a dog through the neighborhood and shooting rounds into the sky before officers arrived. He was booked on suspicion of reckless endangerment, and unlawfully discharging and displaying a weapon.
