(Vancouver, WA) -- A man suspected of driving the pickup truck that struck and killed two women in Vancouver is in police custody. Twenty-seven-year-old Brandon Smith is accused of leaving the scene after the women, 28-year-old Irina Gardinant [[ GAR-din-ahnt ]] and 45-year-old Raisha Mosh [[ RYE-sha moash ]] were hit while crossing a Vancouver street on January 19th. Police say Smith will face two counts of vehicular homicide, three counts of hit-and-run, one count of vehicular assault, and one count of tampering with evidence. Smith's mother and his live-in girlfriend were arrested last weekend for alleged witness tampering.
