(Columbia Gorge, OR)  --  A hiker who had gotten lost on Angel's Rest in the Columbia River Gorge is now home safe.  Multnomah County sheriff's deputies began searching for 56-year-old Pamela Benjamin-Monheimer after she got separated from her hiking partner yesterday afternoon.  The partner met deputies as they arrived and gave them information on where Benjamin-Monheimer was last seen.  Rescuers found her and escorted her to a command post.

  • I-84,Troutdale MP 17 - 62, in the Coumbia Gorge remains closed. The highway is closed EB at Exit 17 in Troutdale. Trucks use US-26 to OR-35 as an alternate route.
