(Salem, OR)  --  Governor John Kitzhaber says legalizing marijuana in Oregon may be an idea whose time has come.  The governor told newspaper editors at the state capitol yesterday that he "hears the drumbeats from Washington and Colorado" and that if Oregon voters follow suit, lawmakers should be prepared to institute a sound regulatory system.  Kitzhaber says a proposal to allow liquor to be sold in large grocery stores in Oregon may not be such a good idea.  He says he doesn't know of anyone having problems with finding where to buy liquor in the state.
