(Portland, OR)  --  A suspect is dead and a police officer is wounded following a shooting near Wilson High School.  Portland police say the shooting happened around four p.m. yesterday in the area of Southwest Capitol Highway and Cheltenham [[ CHELL-ten-ham ]] Street in the Hillsdale neighborhood.  Police say the suspect was shot and killed.  The police officer is being treated for a wound to the hand.  No names have been released.
