Oregon Jobless Rate Falls Below Seven-Percent

(Salem, OR)  --  It's the lowest unemployment rate Oregon has had in more than five years.  The state Employment Department says the seasonally-adjusted jobless rate fell to six-point-nine-percent in February, compared to seven-percent the month before.  Officials say the state added 29-hundred jobs last month, with construction and manufacturing having among the largest gains.  Government employment increased by one-thousand.
