Six-year-old Donates $1300 To Help Mounted Patrol

(Portland, OR)  --  A six-year-old Portland boy wants to see the Portland Police Bureau's Mounted Patrol continue.  The boy, named William, has donated 13-hundred dollars to a group whose goal is to save the mounted patrol.  A group spokesperson tells KOIN-TV that the boy's family sold off a number of items before moving and gave each of their children a choice on where to donate the proceeds.  William elected to give his 13-hundred-dollar share to the mounted patrol.
