Two Rescued From Burning Van

(Gaston, OR)  --  Two men are thanking an off-duty sheriff's deputy for pulling them out of a burning van in Washington County.  An SUV crashed and caught fire Saturday night near Gaston as Deputy Cheryl Crecelius was driving nearby.  The men were trapped inside the vehicle, and Crecelius was able to pull the passenger out.  A Good Samaritan arrived and helped the deputy pull the driver out of the burning vehicle.  Both men have been released from the hospital, but a third man who was able to get out of the SUV is listed in serious condition.
