Oregon, Washington Among 'Most Normal States'

(Undated)  --   "Business Insider" ranks Oregon and Washington among the nation's "most normal" states.  The publication arrived at its rankings using Census Bureau figures and unemployment rates from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.  Washington comes in as the second-most normal state, as indicators such as median age, birth rate, and rate of people with disabilities were close to their respective national averages.  Oregon came in third because its rate of residents with health insurance and its median apartment rent are near national standards.  Illinois ranks as the "most normal" state.
