(Portland, OR) -- A Portland police officer who was shot by a suspect is recovering from his wounds. Authorities have identified the suspected shooter as 20-year-old Paul Ropp, who's also accused of shooting a police K-9 to death. Officer Jeff Dorn and the dog, Mick, were responding to a burglar alarm at Blumenthal Uniforms on Southwest Barbur Boulevard early Wednesday morning when both were shot. Also detained were 25-year-old Jemaell Riley and 20-year-old Steven Young.
