(Independence, OR)  --  Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed one person and injured five in Polk County.  Investigators say an SUV crashed into the side of a car that was pulling out of a parking lot yesterday afternoon on Stryker Road in Independence.  The driver of the second vehicle, an 18-year-old woman, was killed.  An eight-year-old boy was critically injured and four other people sustained injuries that aren't life-threatening.
