Mariners Shut Out By Angels, 5-0

(Seattle, WA)  --  The Seattle Mariners are two games back in the AL Wild Card race after being shut out by the Los Angeles Angels, 5-0.  Starting pitcher James Paxton pitched six-and-two-thirds scoreless innings before giving up three runs in the seventh.  The Mariners managed only one hit on the night.  Seattle will try to even the four-game series with the Angels tonight.
