(Portland, OR) -- Portland Timbers forward Diego Valeri is up for the MLS Goal of the Week. Valeri scored what ended up being the game-winning goal in the 70th minute Saturday as the Timbers went on to beat the Montreal Impact 2-1 on the road. The 29-year-old started his first game since tearing his ACL. This is just the second time a Timbers player has been nominated for goal of the week this season. Fanendo Adi was nominated in week two.
