(Portland, OR)  --  Jack Jewsbury scored the late goal to give the Timbers a 1-nil win over the Earthquakes at Providence Park.  With 31 points in the standings, Portland is tied for third place in the Western Conference.  The Timbers are back in action Saturday on the road against the Philadelphia Union.
