(San Diego, CA) -- Odrisamer Despaigne tossed six innings of one-run ball to help guide the Padres past the Marlins, 3-2, at Petco Park. Despaigne gave up just two hits en route to his fourth win and Craig Kimbrel closed the door on his 29th save. Justin Upton clubbed a solo homer and Matt Kemp plated a run for San Diego, which took three of four against Miami. Mat Latos gave up all three runs over six-plus innings to slip to 4-and-7 for the Marlins, who totaled just four hits. J.T. Realmuto belted a solo shot in defeat. The Fish have dropped seven of 10 since the All-Star break.
