(San Jose, CA)  --  The Timbers played the Earthquakes to a scoreless draw in San Jose.  They are now 0-2-and-2 in their last four matches with their last win coming on July 5th against the 'Quakes.  Portland sits in fifth place in the Western Conference at 33 points, one ahead of the Seattle Sounders and one behind Sporting KC.  The Timbers return home Friday to face the Fire.
