Royals Nip Mets In 14 Innings

(Kansas City, MO)  --  Eric Hosmer's sac-fly RBI in the bottom of the 14th inning gave the Royals a 5-4 win over the Mets in Game One of the World Series.  The marathon lasted just over five hours and tied for the longest game in terms of innings in World Series history.  Game Two is tonight at 8:07 p.m. Eastern.
