(Portland, OR) -- The Timbers get set to take on sixth seeded Sporting Kansas City in the knockout round of the MLS Cup Playoffs tonight at Providence Park.  Portland finished third in the Western Conference with 53 points.  Expect a low scoring affair.  The two teams played three times during the regular season, scoring just one goal between them.  Sporting KC took the season series 1-0-2.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
