(Eugene, OR) -- Vernon Adams torched USC for six touchdowns as number-23 Oregon knocked off 24th-ranked Southern Cal, 48-28 at Autzen Stadium. Adams was 20-of-25 for 407 yards, six touchdowns and a pick as Oregon won its fifth game in a row. Royce Freeman rumbled for 147 yards on the ground for the Ducks. Oregon scored 17 points in the final seven minutes before halftime, giving the Ducks a 31-14 lead. Cody Kessler tossed two touchdowns for USC, which had its four-game win streak snapped. Justin Davis ran for 141 yards and Adoree Jackson scored on a punt return for the 7-and-4 Trojans.
