(Corvallis, OR)  --  Beavers guard Gary Payton the Second has been named one of 20 finalists for the Wooden Award, given to college basketball's top player.  The senior guard is averaging 16.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.4 steals per game for Oregon State.  Payton the Second is the son of NBA Hall of Famer Gary Payton.
