Seahawks Waive Longtime Long-snapper

(Renton, WA)  --  The Seattle Seahawks' longtime long-snapper is thanking fans for their support, after being waived by the team.  Clint Gresham played 108 games for the Seahawks after being signed in 2010 as an undrafted free agent out of TCU.  The Hawks have re-signed linebacker Eric Pinkins, who played mostly on special teams for Seattle last season.  Pinkins could compete for the linebacker position that came open with the departure of Bruce Irvin for Oakland.
