(Eugene, OR)  --  Oregon golf survived a slow start to beat LSU 3-1-1 in the opening round of match play of the NCAA Championship at Eugene Country Club.  The win gave Oregon a 3-and-0 record in the quarterfinals in the three times it qualified for match play since the format was instituted in 2009.  Ducks will have to beat Illinois, who coasted to a 4-1-0 win over South Carolina.
