(Corvallis, OR)  --  University of Texas is interested in Oregon State head baseball coach Pat Casey for their coaching vacancy.  The "Austin American-Statesman" reports Casey is on the short list to replace Augie Garrido, who stepped down after 20 seasons in Austin.  Casey is under contract with Oregon State through the 2020 season, which would mark his 26th year with the school.  Casey is scheduled to make 3.3-million-dollars in base salary over the course of the next four years.
